Welsh travel YouTuber John McAllister took 17 trains, 11 buses, and one plane over more than 5,000 km to watch Wales face Kazakhstan in a World Cup qualifier in Astana. He spent two weeks in the country, visiting Atyrau, Almaty, and the Shymbulak ski area, and came away impressed by its modern feel and warm hospitality. He called Astana Arena a top-class venue.
